    Opening hours for the Parish Office: 10.00am – 1.00pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday

Eucharistic Adoration on Wednesdays from 10.00am to 10.00pm. All are welcome.

Holy Hour in the Nursing Home chapel on Monday and Friday evenings at 7.30pm. All welcome.

Pease pray for the repose of the souls of Patricia Graydon (Clonkeen) & Dermot Doolan father of Orla Dunne (Porterstown Lane) who died during the week. May they rest in peace.

We welcome Wesley Phelan, Lauren Robinson, James Behan, Annabelle Corrigan, and Edward McAuley                        into the Christian Community. They were baptised recently.

Congratulations to Aisling Donnelly & Mark Reilly, who were married during the week.

The sick and the housebound will be attended to in their home on Thursday & Friday this week.

This Sunday is a blue offering day.

Next weekend church gate collection (7th/8th September) is for the Altar Society of Ratoath Parish. The monies collected is used by the altar society for flowers for the altar, linen for the church, cleaning equipment, detergents etc  and other items in connection with the various ceremonies held in the church throughout the year.

Study Pastoral Liturgy. September – December 2019. The National Centre for Liturgy,

St Patrick’s College, Maynooth offers four Modules in the first semester of the academic year 2019-20.   Lectures will be held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, morning and afternoon, beginning at 10.00 a.m. and ending at 4.00 p.m.  Eucharist is celebrated at 12.05 each day. Dunshaughlin Players are holding readings for their autumn production in the Arch Bar (Dunshaughlin) at 8pm on the 5th September. Actors of all ages required and we would love to see people interested in helping out in anyway.  New members are especially welcome

Job Vacancy: Dunboyne Community Employment has the following 3 vacancies: For persons eligible to work under the Community Employment Scheme. These positions are part-time (19.5 hours).  Full training programme will be put in place for successful candidate

1.     Grounds Maintenance Person: Batterstown Community Area. Duties to include grounds keeping, pitch marking and maintenance, up keep of common areas.

2.     Grounds Maintenance Person: Dunboyne Soccer Club. Duties to include grounds keeping, pitch marking and maintenance, up keep of common areas.

3.     Parish Grounds Maintenance/ Sports Grounds – Kilbride Parish Area. Duties to include grounds keeping, cemetery upkeep and maintenance and upkeep of all parish grounds and common areas. Upkeep and maintenance of  Kilbride GAA grounds.

Hospice Coffee Morning in Swan's Lounge Curragha, on Thursday 5th September, from 9.30am to 12.30pm. All the funds raised will be divided equally between Meath Palliative Care Nurses and The Gary Kelly Cancer Support Centre. Please come along and support these very worthy causes.

Meath Alzheimer Cafe: Wednesday, 4th September, from 7.00 - 9.00 p.m. in The Pastoral Centre, Dunshaughlin.  All families/carers and loved ones living with Alzheimer's Disease/Dementia are welcome to attend.  Guest speaker is Liz Hughes, Occupational Therapist, who will give a talk on ‘Memory Technology Resource Room Project - Meath’ Tea/coffee and scones served.  Admission is free.
