The Main Celebrant and Preacher will be Bishop Michael Smith and the choir taking part is the Meath Diocesan Choir. Confessions 11.00am to 5.00pm, Anointing of the Sick 2.30pm, Pilgrimage Mass at 3.00pm followed by Benediction, Rosary Procession to the Shrine and Blessing of Religious Objects. A bus to Knock will leave Dunshaughlin Church at 8.00 am and Dunboyne Church at 8.20 am. It has been undertaken for over 1500 years. Reek Sunday 2018 will be one of the last national Church events before the start of the World Meeting of Families 2018 in Ireland on 21 – 26 August next. On Sunday 26th August (the day Pope Francis celebrates Mass in the Phoenix Park) there will be no 11.00am or 12.15pm Mass. There will be a 9.00am Mass. As a result there will be no 11.00am or 12.15pm Mass in the parish that day. Public transport to the Phoenix from Fairyhouse Racecourse will be free for people who have tickets for the Phoenix Park Mass. Lough Derg: One day retreat Saturday 1st Sept.
