                                                 Your  Assistance Required


The Parish Choir will be back to lead the congregation in music and song at the 12.15pm Mass on next Sunday 11th September. We always welcome new members. We rehearse on Tuesday nights (beginning this Tuesday 6th September) at 8.15pm in the Parish Pastoral Centre.

We are looking for new cantors to lead the singing at the 11.00am Mass on Sundays.                                      If you are willing to lead the singing, please contact Fr. Gerry or Fr. Brendan.

If you would like to be a Minister of the Word (reader) at one of our weekend Masses, please contact Fr. Gerry or Fr. Brendan. As a general rule, a reader is required to read once in every seven to eight weeks. Please give it consideration. 




Bishop Smith will lead our Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes from 12-17 September. This year over 160 sick pilgrims are travelling with the support of volunteer helpers. This pilgrimage is always a special time of grace and strength and is possible because of the support of so many people from all over the diocese.  There are still some pilgrim places available and anyone interested in travelling should contact: Pilgrimages Abroad, Lauri Duffy Travel 01-6359300.



10th Annual National Grandparents Pilgrimage at Knock Shrine. Chief Celebrant – Archbishop Michael Neary on Sunday 11th September 2.30pm Anointing of the Sick / 3pm Pilgrimage Mass. A bus will leave the Fairgreen, Navan at 7.45am. To book a seat on the bus, please contact Maureen 087 655 6386

Mother Teresa of Calcutta to be canonised this Sunday in Rome 
by Pope Francis.
Mother Teresa of Calcutta, once said  “Remember that the passion of Christ ends in the joy of the Resurrection, so when you feel in your own heart the suffering of Christ, remember the resurrection has to come, the joy of Easter has to dawn. Never let anything so fill you with sorrow as to make you forget the joy of the risen Christ”.
Malcom Muggeridge said of Mother Teresa that “for me, Mother Teresa of Calcutta embodies Christian love in action. Her face shines with the love of Christ on which her whole life is centred, and her words carry that message to a world which needed it so much”.
Meath Alzheimer Cafe:  Wednesday, 7th September, from 7.00 - 9.00 p.m. in The Pastoral Centre, Dunshaughlin.  All families/carers and loved ones living with Alzheimer's Disease/Dementia are welcome to attend.  Guest speaker is Elaine Byrne, Solicitor, who will give a talk on 'Legal Matters relevant to people living with Dementia'.  Music, tea/coffee and scones.
