Congratulations to Daniel Breen (Steeplechase Green), Ryan Arthur (Milltree Park),

Aine McMahon (Clonkeen) and Hannah Conroy (Woodlands Hall) who were baptised recently.




We welcome Bishop Smith to our parish this Friday for the Sacrament of Confirmation.

We wish all the boys and girls who are receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation every good wish and blessing for the day. We thank them for all their work in preparing so well for this day and thanks also to their parents who have supported them on their faith journey this year. A special thanks to their teachers and all in the school who are working to make this coming Friday such a special day for the boys and girls. There are two ceremonies – at 11.00am and 3.00pm

For this year’s Mission Awareness and Appeal in the diocese, Sr Rena Condron, a Franciscan Sister for Africa who has worked for many years will speak at all the Masses next weekend (25th/26th April). She will speak on spreading of the Good News in the African countries in which the Sisters work.


The Apostolate of Eucharistic Adoration will hold their third National Pilgrimage to Knock on next Sunday 26th April. Mass will be celebrated by Bishop Michael Smith. Talk entitled Adoration and the Eucharist by Fr. John Harris O.P. All Eucharistic Adorers are encouraged to attend. Details for the day on the poster in the church notice board.

MARYS MEALS: Charity named after Our Lady, provides a daily meal to hungry children at school. Concert to raise one million Euro - Friday 24th April at 7.30pm, Hogan Suite, Croke Park, Doors open at 6.30pm. Performers include Fr. Ray Kelly (you tube sensation!) and classical singer, Fr. Marino Nguekam. Tickets €15 available on the night. Free parking available on the night.
ASHBOURNE PRAYER GROUP: Meets every Monday night from 8-9pm in the side chapel of the Ashbourne Church. We welcome new members for prayer, song & adoration.

Dunshaughlin Choral Society is celebrating 40 years of music and song in a spectacular Gala Concert on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th April in the Solstice Theatre, Navan.  We are joined on both nights by special guest and MC Mr. Paul Harrington, former Eurovision Song Contest Winner.  The choral society will be performing songs from all the popular musicals and singing all the old favourites from over the years.  There's something for everyone in this wonderful celebration.  Tickets are €16 /€14 (concession). Dunshaughlin & District Historical Society invite you to the last of their spring series of talks presented by Mr. Jim Gilligan on Monday 20thApril at 8pm in Dunshaughlin Pastoral Centre ( behind the Church). "The story of sixteen year old James Fox, from Drumree who fought with the Citizen Army and was shot in St. Stephen's Green, during the Easter Rising of 1916.  Followed by refreshments.  Famine Commemoration Ceremony at Dunshaughlin Famine Graveyard on Sunday 10th May at 3pm. Followed by talk on "Life during the Famine Years".

Tenth Anniversary: The Ratoath Folk Group is delighted to invite you to their 10th Year Anniversary Mass on Saturday 25th April at 7pm, and afterwards to the GAA Club for Tea and Sandwiches. We cannot believe it is actually 10 years since we started the Folk Group. How many changes Ratoath has seen in that time but one thing that has not changed is the love we all share for Music. We have enjoyed every Mass we have sung at and we hope that it has added to your enjoyment of the Saturday Vigil Mass. We hope you can join us and we look forward to the next 10 years.
