A baptismal meeting for parents who have children for baptism in the near future will be held in the Parish Pastoral Centre on Wednesday next 13th August at 8.00pm
Eucharistic Adoration every Wednesday from 10.00am to 10.00pm in the family room of the church.
Friday is the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. 
There will be Mass at 11.00pm and a Mass at 7.00pm on the feast day.

The Youth 2000 Summer Festival takes place in Cistercian College, Mount Saint Joseph Abbey, Roscrea on 14 - 17 August. This annual event for 16-35 year olds offers an opportunity for young people to experience the Catholic faith in a joyful, uplifting way.  The event is the biggest gathering of young Catholics in Ireland and the programme includes inspiring talks, music, prayer, a concert, workshops, dramas, share groups, reconciliation and healing service and Mass. There is also lots of time for relaxing, taking part in games, meeting new friends and chilling out. This year’s guest speaker is Fr. John Harris.  The festival is donation-only and there are free buses to and from the event. Lough Derg Three Day Pilgrimage, Wednesday 13th August is the last day pilgrims can commence the Three Day Pilgrimage. One Day Retreats recommence on 17th August.  Bus Eireann Service ex. St Columban Conference  takes place at St Columban's, Dalgan Park, Navan, beginning Friday August 29th at 7.30 pm & concluding on Saturday 30th at 4.30 pm:  Programme includes lectures, discussions and inputs from columban groups in Ireland and Europe.  Lecturers include Dr Conor Newman, Dr Daibli O'Cronin, Dr Alex O'Hara and Fr Billy Swan. Eoin O’Brien a parishioner in Clonkeen and a first year DCU student will travel to South Africa in August to take part in overseas volunteer work. He will help with building in schools and orphanages along with teaching English and work in a conservation area. Art exhibition-  Marina Marmion & Elizabeth Black will host an exhibition of paintings in the tea rooms at Ardgillan Castle, Balbriggan from 24th July-13th August.  Many local landscapes, abstract & country sciences are included.  Opening hours 11am-6pm.   All very welcome.  Admission free.
