Two Saints  - Saint John Paul 11and Saint John XX111

Two giants of Roman Catholicism in the 20th century will become saints on Sunday at an unprecedented twin canonisation in Rome.

Pope John XXIII, who reigned from 1958 to 1963 and called the modernising Second Vatican Council, and Pope John Paul II, who reigned for nearly 27 years before his death in 2005 and whose trips around the world made him the most visible pope in history, will be declared saints by Pope Francis.

The Church will declare the popes who left an indelible mark on Catholicism led lives of holiness and are worthy of imitation by the faithful.

From now on, Saint John XX111 feast day will be celebrated on 11th October and Saint John Paul 11 on 22nd October.

Prayer to Saint John Paul 11
St. John Paul 11, from the window of Heaven grant us your blessing! Bless the Church that you have loved, served and guided, pushing her with courage towards the paths of the world to bring Christ to all, and all to Christ. From the window of Heave, where we see you next to Mary, send down upon us all the blessing of God. Amen.
Prayer to Saint John XX111
St. John XX111, your simple and meek persona carried the scent of God and the desire of goodness was inflamed in the heart. Pray for us so that we do not limit ourselves to mourn the darkness but rather to enkindle the light, bringing Christ everywhere and always praying to Mary. Amen
