Fr. Brendan appointed P.P. of Curragha and Ardcath

As Fr. Brendan prepares to leave our parish in the coming weeks to take up his appointment as Parish Priest of Curragha and Ardcath, we thank him for his dedication and service to the people of this parish over the past three years.

We have been enriched by his presence among us, by his commitment to spreading the gospel and the administration of the sacraments, by his pastoral care to the sick and those in nursing homes and hospitals, by his service to the young and old, by his involvement in community life, by his work with the young people, particularly in the schools.

Fr. Brendan has enjoyed the friendships and company of so many in the community in the past few years. We will miss him but he is not going far. We wish Fr. Brendan every joy and blessing as he takes on his new assignment and we hope that the Lord will guide and strengthen him in the years ahead.
