Every human life is beautiful, every human life is precious. Choose Life!
Sunday 7th October is the Day for Life 2012. Day for Life is a day dedicated to raising awareness about the meaning and value of human life at every stage. The theme for this year is Choose Life. See for more information on the month of prayer announced by the bishops.


We welcome the boys and girls of Sixth Class to our Masses next week end as they make their commitment for the Sacrament of Confirmation next February. We also welcome their parents who will journey with them in faith this year.


The Children’s Liturgy Committee will meet on Wednesday 10th October at 8.00pm in the Parish Pastoral Centre


Eucharistic Adoration on Wednesdays from 10.00am to 10.00pm in the church.

The Principal and Deputy Principal will meet the students of 6th class this week 8th – 10th October in the four local feeder schools regarding enrolment for Ratoath College 2013.

Ratoath Senior, St Pauls, Rathbeggan and Curragha National Schools. If you have not already contacted Ratoath College and you are living in the area and your child is not attending one of the local feeder schools, please call to the college for your enrolment application.

Alltech are hosting a table quiz in aid of the Meath branch of the Alzheimer Society of Ireland in Ratoath GAA Clubhouse on Friday October 12th at 8pm sharp, team of four €40 all proceeds go directly to the Meath Branch of the Alzheimer Society of Ireland.

Frank McNamara Coffee Concert in Gardenworks (Plantagen) on Tuesday 9th October at 10.30am. Free admission. Donations in aid of Temple Street Hospital grateful accepted.

Warrenstown Remembered 1923-2009: The College prepared students for work in the agricultural and horticultural sectors of the country for almost 90 years. Since its closure in 2009, a dedicated group of former students and staff would like to make contact with the almost 6000 Salesians, staff and students who passed through the college and invite them to a gathering in Knightsbrook Hotel, Trim, on Sunday 14th October at 7.00pm. Meath Volunteer Centre is offering a comprehensive and practical Training in Volunteer Management for local volunteer involving organisations in Meath. Training consists of 4 modules delivered over 2 full days. Provisional dates are Monday 12th and 19th November from 9.30am to 5.30 pm at Meath Partnership Offices in Kells. Cost is €40 to cover the 4 training modules. Tea & lunch refreshments will be supplied. As places are limited, we would appreciate if you confirm your attendance as soon as possible.
