The sick and the housebound will be attended to in their homes on Thursday and Friday.

We are looking for any adult who would like to join the Parish Choir in the lead into Christmas. If you would like to join, even for the next month, you would be most welcome to come to the practises on Tuesday evenings at 8.30pm in the Parish Pastoral Centre.
The Ratoath Conference of SVP would like to ask parishioners to support their Christmas appeal. We currently have a trolley in Supervalu where non perishable goods can be donated. Supervalu is also supporting the Ryan Turbidy 2fm toy appeal . Donated new toys can be left at Supervalu Ratoath and will be distributed by SVP to needy families in our area. Since 1960, Viatores Christi has aimed to respond to need overseas and at home by giving people an opportunity to share their lives and skills with those in need. We need people from all disciplines, from teachers to electricians, doctors to administrators, farmers to childcare workers. You must be in a position to volunteer for at least one year. If you want to explore such a challenge, we offer a part time training programme to prepare you for working in a new environment and facilitate you in finding a suitable project. If you are interested in learning more, please come along to our information and recruitment session in Dublin on Saturday 3rd December from 11am-2pm in the Irish Aid Volunteering & Information Centre, 27-31 O’Connell Street, Dublin. The Diocesan Youth Group are hosting an evening "Prepare your Hearts" in St. Anne’s Parish Centre, Navan, on Friday 9th December. It will be a space for reflection and preparation for the season of Advent and is open to people aged between 18 and 35. People are asked to gather between 6pm and 6.30pm. The annual Christmas Fair, organised by Ratoath Community Centre and Ratoath Chamber of Commerce takes place on Sunday 4th December. Santa arrives at 11.00am. Festival Stalls in the Community Centre and Car Park. Free puppet show. Food and crafts. Fun all day.
Please support St. Paul's National School Christmas Fair, Sunday December 4th, 11.30am-2.30pm in the school hall. Come and meet Santa, enjoy face painting, cakes, gifts and book stalls, refreshments, games and lots more!

Meath Community Drug & Alcohol Response Family Support Group. Family Support is a safe place where families affected by drug use can come together in a non judgmental confidential environment. Family Support is a self help group. It is for Parents-Grandparents-Wives-Husbands-Partners-Siblings-Friends or any person over 18 who is concerned about another’s alcohol or drug use. Also it is for parents who are struggling with behaviour problems from their young adolescents and who fear they may become involved with alcohol and other substances. People 4 People: We are a volunteer group based in Ratoath, we offer our time. Time to take you to hospital for an appointment, for a chat, to take you to the post office or shopping, to lend a hand when a new baby arrives. Call 086 0325795. Not an emergency service. 
Ratoath Garden Club: Monday 28th November in The Ratoath Inn at 8.30pm Topic “ A Planting Illusion” Speaker will be Stephen Butler, Curator of Horticulture at Dublin Zoo. The Christmas Gala Flower Arranging night will take place on Monday 12th December, Jenny from Moira Flowers Dunshaughlin will be the guest flower arranger. Admission €10.00 with supper. All proceeds to the Simon Community. 
Adult Literacy Classes: Names are now being taken for classes in maths, spelling, writing, family literacy and basic computers, which will start in January. All classes are held locally and are free of charge. Contact Dympna 018011787 for further details.
