Church Wheelchair Access and Related Works
Construction Work will commence on Monday 14th November, to provide wheelchair access to the front entrance of the church which will incorporate new limestone paving and re-surfacing of the access and parking area. The work is fairly extensive, as the church is a listed building, and we are obliged to comply with the regulations as laid down.
Every effort will be made to facilitate visitors to the church and parishioners are requested to co-operate with the contractor by observing the signs and management plan for efficiency, health and safety reasons.
For the duration of the work, Masses, Monday to Friday will be held in the Parish Pastoral Centre as will Eucharistic Adoration on Wednesdays. Parishioners are advised to park near the centre (beside the Parochial House). It is hoped that the work will be completed very early in December.
