Congratulations to Christina Doran and Paul Warren who were married during the week.
Please pray for Sean Cunningham (New York), brother of Anne O’Malley (Mruigtuaithe) who died during the week. May he rest in peace.
Eucharistic Adoration on Wednesdays from 10.00am to 10.00pm in the family room of the church. All are welcome.
A meeting for all parents of children in Second Class who will receive the Sacraments of First Penance and First Communion next year will be held in the church on Thursday next 16th September at 8.00pm.
The Children’s Choir will resume practice on this Wednesday 15th September at 7.00pm. This session will begin with a short meeting with parents. The choir is now full and there is a waiting list in operation.
The Annual Legion of Mary Pilgrimage to Our Lady’s Shrine at Knock will take place on Sunday the 26th of September. It is proposed to run a bus from the parish of Ashbourne- Donaghmore.  The bus will leave the parish church at 8.00am on the Sunday morning, returning for 11.00pm. The cost for travel is €38 and this price covers an evening meal on the return journey. People proposing to travel with this group should contact the members of the Legion of Mary from the parish, any day after the morning Masses at Ashbourne or after the 11.00am Mass on Sunday morning. Meath Archaeological and Historical Society- visit to Rossnaree House on Sunday 12th September at 3.00pm- Presentation of it's History by Aisling Law and John McCullen. This will be followed by a talk given by Dr. Conor Brady D.K.I.T. on his most recent excavations at Rossnaree Enclosure. Assemble on site, all welcome, voluntary contributions welcome.
