Please pray for John Staunton (The Commons) and Martin McGorman, brother of Tom McGorman (Crushen Road) who died during the week. May they rest in peace.

As mentioned last weekend Bishop Smith has made a number of clerical changes in the diocese. Fr. Patrick has been transferred to Tullamore Parish and will be replaced by Fr. Brendan Ferris who is coming from Tyrrellspass. The change takes effect on Friday 3rd September.
If you are interested in helping out with the Children’s Liturgy, please let us know by ringing the parish office during the coming week. It will involve about 4 Sundays in the year and 4 meetings to prepare for the Sundays.
If you would like to be a reader (Minister of the Word) at the weekend Masses, would you please ring the parish office in the coming weeks.
The Parish Choir will resume shortly. If you are interested in joining the choir please call the parish office. The choir practice every Tuesday evening at 8.30pm and sing at the 12.15pm Masses on Sunday and on other important liturgical occasions.

Sunday 29th August the Dunshaughlin & District Historical Society will be going  to  Kilmainham Gaol. Meath Partnership is offering courses in Eco-Tourism and E-business, and Wood Energy and Biomass Training for jobseekers in Meath .These training opportunities are aimed at people who have been unemployed for three months or more, are in receipt of jobseekers benefits, and will favour people who were previously employed in declining industries such as construction, retail and manufacturing.
