All Welcome  [[Trócaire’s Lenten campaign Trócaire’s Lenten campaign this year is about 26 million of our brothers and sisters worldwide who have been forced to abandon their homes because of armed conflict and violence. People such as Khalid and his family, who appear on this year’s Trócaire box, are forced from their homes in Mogadishu, Somalia, losing their land, their livelihoods, and often even their own family members. As Christians, we are challenged this Lent to open our eyes to the pain of these displaced peoples.  We are called, like the Good Samaritan, to go to the help of our suffering brothers and sisters. One very effective way of doing this is by supporting Trocaire's Lenten campaign (please collect a Trócaire box today if you haven’t already done so).
Trócaire supports communities and families forced to flee from home by war with food, shelter, safe drinking water, healthcare and agricultural support to help people survive.  Currently, Trócaire is supporting people forced to flee their homes due to conflict in countries such as Sudan, Somalia, Colombia and the Congo.

- Millions of people are starving all over the world. They depend on you.  - Your contribution can help to change the lives of displaced people. [[- Trocaire workers tell us that your contributions over the years have changed the lives of millions of people.   “Let no-one say that the Irish people have become so concerned with their own troubles that they have lost their generous concern for those in need. The Trocaire box is not just a great Irish tradition for Lent, it is a vital gateway of hope for so many in need across the world everyday.”                                                                                    (Cardinal Seán Brady, Archbishop of Armagh).******************************************************************************Please pray for Ruairi Henderson (Glasnevin) father of Eanna Henderson (Tankardstown) and Maureen Jarman (Wales) sister of Frances Connolly (Clonkeen) who died during the week.      May they rest in peace.
