      A  Blessing for Pentecost

May the Lord bless you on this great day of Pentecost.                                    May you be filled with his life-giving Holy Spirit as we celebrate the birth of the Church.                                                                                                                   May your family be a holy place, renewed by this same gift of life and hope, of trust in the Lord, of peace and joy.                                                                                 May your home be filled with the Holy Spirit of Pentecost and be a source of comfort to all who come to you. Amen.

Almighty God, Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, grant, we pray, that we might be grounded and settled in your truth by the coming of your Holy Spirit into our hearts. What we do not know, reveal to us; what is lacking within us, make complete; that which we know, confirm in us; and keep us blameless in your service, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Pope St. Clement 1 (Bishop of Rome 88-98)

Last year the Lagore Committee Creche secured €1,000,000 towards building a community creche on the Lagore road, but unfortunately the tenders came in over budget and the short fall could not be made up. As a result the grant was lost. However the committee has continued to work on and has applied for new funding. They are informed that under the NCIP project, they have been provisionally approved funding of €1,000,000. The committee wish to encourage all local builders to furnish tenders for this most worth while project, before June 8th.
