Holy Thursday

Mass of the Lord’s Supper                                     7.30pm

On Holy Thursday, we recall the Last Supper, the night before Jesus died.

The Last Supper was the first Mass celebrated by Jesus,

when he gathered with his friends

and told them “ do this in memory of me.

After the Holy Thursday ceremony, you are welcome to pray at the Altar of Repose.

Adoration will end at 10.00pm.

Good Friday

Stations of the Cross                                                     3.00pm

We follow the “Way of the Cross”, the journey of Jesus from Jerusalem to Calvary.

Confessions on Good Friday after the Stations of the Cross.

Celebration of the Lord’s Passion                      7.30pm

This is the main celebration for Good Friday. We hear again the

story of Christ’s suffering and death.

We venerate the cross, place our petitions at the foot of the cross

and at the conclusion of this solemn but simple service,

we receive Holy Communion.

A short reflective prayer service around the Cross will take place after the main ceremony,

at approximately 9.00pm

Holy Saturday

Morning Prayer                                                          10.30am

Confessions on Holy Saturday after morning prayer.

Mass of the Lord’s Resurrection                                  9.00pm

On this Holy night, we pass from darkness of death on Good Friday

To the empty tomb and joy of Christ’s resurrection.

The light of the Easter Candle

and the blessing of new water remind us of our hope.
