Congratulations to James Burke (Somerville), Kate Doherty (Glebe Park), Rachael Manley (Leigh Valley), Oscar Glynn (Woodlands) and Henry Byrne (Lagore Road) who were baptised recently.


A meeting of the Parish Finance Committee will take place on Tuesday next 7th November at 8.30pm in the Parish Resource Centre.


The Children’s Liturgy Committee will meet on Wednesday next 8th November in the Parish Resource Centre at 8.00pm


Eucharistic Adoration on Wednesdays from 10.00am to 10.00pm in the Parish Church

The Holy Ghost Fathers are assigned by Bishop Smith to visit all the parishes in the dioceses this year. A Holy Ghost Father will speak at all the Masses next weekend in relation to their mission.


A Farewell Party for Fr. Phil will be held on Friday 24th November at 9.00pm in the Ratoath GAA Clubhouse to thank Fr. Phil for his service to Ratoath Parish. Tickets available from Ratoath Post Office; Johnny Ryan’s; Terry Brady’s; Ratoath Community Centre; O’Brien’s Carpets Dunshaughlin; Dunshaughlin Community School and Rathbeggan National School.

Tickets will also be available outside the Church after all the Masses next weekend. 




All completed list of the dead should be returned to the box at the back of the church as soon as possible. All our dead are remembered in our Masses during November (the month of the Holy Souls) and in the First Friday Masses throughout the year.

A new Bereavement Support Group is being set up in the parish. The first meeting will take place the Parish Resource Centre (beside the Parochial House) on this Monday 6th November at 8.00pm. Anyone interested is welcome to come along. For further information contact Teresa on 01-8254609 after 6.00pm any evening.


Rainbows is a peer support for children of Primary school age who have had a difficult change in their lives, due to separation, divorce or death.  The Weekender newspaper is seeking to recruit a correspondent to write local notes for the Ratoath area. This is a part-time position, involving no more than a few hours work each week. It would suit a person with a sound local knowledge and good contacts, especially with local clubs, associations and voluntary organisations. The primary requirements are enthusiasm and

A programme organised by Aisling International. It is about parenting and supervising in the drug age. It helps develop skills for dealing with young people in today’s toxic environment. The programme commences on Wednesday 8th November at 7.30pm to 9.30pm and runs fro 4 weeks in Rathbeggan National School. Cost of €20 per person.
