    Opening hours for the Parish Office: 10.00am – 1.00pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday

Eucharistic Adoration on Wednesdays from 10.00am to 10.00pm. All are welcome.

Holy Hour in the Nursing Home chapel on Monday and Friday evenings at 7.30pm. All welcome.

Please pray for the repose of the souls of Stephanie Moran (Brownstown) and Phyllis Woods (Greenogue) who died during the week. May they rest in peace.

The sick and the housebound will be attended to in their homes next Thursday and Friday

There will be a celebration of blessing of Candles and sung Vespers in the Cathedral in Mullingar on this Sunday February 2nd at 4pm with the Bishop and Religious of the Diocese. 

All are welcome to this celebration which marks the Day for Consecrated Life and the contribution of religious to our Diocese. 

The reflection will be given by Mother Marie OCSO, the Abbess of Glencairn Abbey.

We welcome the boys and girls of Second Class who are preparing for First Confessions and First Communion to the 7.00pm and 12.15pm Masses next weekend as part of their “Do This in Memory of Me” programme. We welcome them along with their parents.

A meeting of the Parish Finance Committee will be held in the Parish Pastoral Centre on Monday 3rd February at 8.00pm

A meeting of the Board of Management of Rathbeggan National School will be held in the Parish Pastoral Centre on Tuesday 4th February at 7.30pm

Monday is the Feast of St Blaise.

The blessing of throats will take place before and after the morning Mass.

The National Centre for Liturgy, in association with St. Patrick’s College, Maynooth offers a short course for people who wish actively to support the Liturgy and public prayer in their parishes. This course takes place over12 weeks between February and May 2020, and is comprised of a number of modules, any combination of which may be taken. The course meets on Tuesdays and Wednesdays with modules from 10.00am to 12noon and from 2.00pm to 4.00pm. There is a daily Eucharist at 12.05pm each day. A Mass of Remembrance will be held on Wednesday 5th February at 3:00 pm in St. Loman's Hospital Chapel, Mullingar, in memory of deceased patients and people buried in St. Loman's Hospital Cemetery from 1907 to 1970.  All are welcome.

Clonard 1500 The Year of St. Finian. A Public talk by Dr Noel Kissane (Author of St. Brigid of Kildare : Life, Legend  and Cult)  at 8.00pm on Wednesday 5th February at St. Finian’s Parish Centre, Clonard. Everyone welcome.  Admission – Donation (if possible)

Meath Alzheimer Cafe:  Wednesday, 5th February, from 7.00 - 9.00 p.m. in The Pastoral Centre, Dunshaughlin.  All families/carers and loved ones living with Alzheimer's Disease/Dementia are welcome to attend.  Guest speaker is Susan O’Reilly, Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Holly Clinic, Blanchardstown, who will give a talk on Brain Health and Wellbeing’.  Tea/coffee and scones served.  Admission is free.  Contact:  Day Centre at 046-9027007.

Do You Have Type 2 Diabetes HSE Led – Diabetes Education Course called ‘Desmond’ for all patients with Type 2 Diabetes will be starting in Dunshaughlin Health Centre in February 2020.

This is a free course that runs for 2 x half days (3 hours each session).
