Holy Hour in the Nursing Home chapel on Monday and Friday evenings at 7.30pm. All welcome.

Please pray for the repose of the soul of Colm Murphy (Drumree), husband of Mary and son-in-law of the late Aggie Donohoe (Fairyhouse Road) who died during the week. May he rest in peace.

We welcome Zara McIntyre, Eabha O’Brien & Aidan Todd into the Christian Community.

They were baptised recently.

Next Sunday is a blue offering day.

Friday is the Feast of All Saints. It is a holy day of obligation. Masses are at 11.00am and 7.00pm

Saturday is the Commemoration of all the Faithful Departed (Feast of all Souls)

Mass will be at 11.00am in the Parish Church.

The Church in her pilgrim members, from the earliest days, has honoured with great respect the memory of the dead and “because it is a holy and wholesome thought to pray for the dead that they might be loosed from their sins”, she offers her prayers for them.

November is traditionally dedicated as the Month of the Holy Souls when we pray in a special way from family members/relatives/friends who are no longer with us. The sheets and envelopes for the List of the Dead are available at the back of the church. We ask you to fill them in and return them to the box at the back of the church before early November. All those on the parish list of the dead are prayed for at all Masses in November and on the first Friday of every month.
On next Sunday 3rd November at the 12.15pm Mass we will celebrate our annual Remembrance Mass for all our parishioners who died in the past 12 months. We invite and welcome their families, relations and friends to that Mass.

Gate Collection for Catechesis of The Good Shepherd next weekend – please support.

The parish is excited to be able to offer Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) in the spring of the new year, beginning with children aged 3-6 years old with plans to expand sessions for older children in due course. Training and set up will require funding from the parish and parishioners and your generosity would go a long way towards the catholic formation of the next generation.

All Saints Day Children's Party at 6 pm on Friday 1st November. Families with children of all ages are invited to dress up as their favourite saint and come to play a variety of games in the Parish Pastoral Centre.

Many thanks for your support for the Mission Sunday collection last weekend which raised €2,000. Your prayers and donations will help missionaries across the world share the love of Christ with those in greatest need. Your generosity means that you are helping to empower people who are struggling to form sustainable communities of faith, hope and love, so that people may have the chance to experience love and support within our church family.
