The Maryvale Certificate in Catechesis (MCC) course is a two year, part-time, distance-learning course which is modular in design, covering the key areas necessary for adults seeking to deepen their faith knowledge, as well as those looking for formation to equip them to deliver catechesis in parishes, schools and families.  MCC is delivered at Maryvale in England but also in many other centres including Dublin and Cork. You will study at home, at your own pace, using course books specially written for the purpose. This enables study to be integrated with daily life making the course accessible to people with busy lives and work or family commitments. Each year there are 6 course books, with 6 assignments to write and 3 Study Days and a Retreat Day to encourage and support you. The cost per annum is £700. The next course will begin again on Saturday 11th  October  with a Study day from 10am-4pm in the Avila Carmelite Centre,  Bloomfield Avenue, Morehampton Road, Dublin 4. Eternal God, the refuge and help of all your children,
we praise you for all you have given us,
for all you have done for us, for all that you are to us.
In our weakness, you are strength,
in our darkness, you are light,
in our sorrow, you are comfort and peace.
We cannot number your blessings,
we cannot declare your love;
for all our blessings we bless you.
May we live in your presence, and love the things that you love,
and serve you in our daily lives. Amen
                                    (Prayer of St. Boniface whose feast day was on 5th June)
