Eucharistic Adoration takes place every Wednesday in the family room of the church from 10.00am to 10.00pm. Why not make a special effort for the season of Lent to spend some time (however short) in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament?
 
A meeting of the Board of Management of Ratoath Junior National School will be held on Monday next 7th April at 7.30pm in the Parish Pastoral Centre.
 
A meeting of the Board of Management of Ratoath Senior National School will be held on Monday next 7th April at 8.00pm in the school.
 
A meeting of the Parish Liturgy Committee will be held on Tuesday next 8th April at 8.00pm in the Parish Pastoral Centre.
 

A meeting for parents who have children for baptism in the near future will take place the Parish Pastoral Centre on Wednesday next 9th April at 8.00pm  

 
 
 
The Benedictine Monks of Silverstream Priory in Stamullen - Sung Vespers and Benediction of the Most Blessed Sacrament at 5:15 pm on the Sundays of Lent. Tea will follow in the monastery gatehouse. This initiative is a unique opportunity to enter more deeply into the grace of Lent.

Members from the church lay ministers have been trained up on how to use a defibrillator and we hoping to have the defibrillator for use in the church soon.  We are asking parishioners to give a little extra in the basket collection this weekend  5th and 6th April to help with the cost of the defibrillator.

 
Tullamore Junior Pastoral Council presents 5th National Parish Youth Conference on Saturday 12th April with registration in St. Mary’s Youth Centre at 9.30pm.  Conference from 10.00am to 4.30pm. Fee €10 including lunch.
 
 
The Annual General Meeting of St. Oliver’s Community Centre Ltd will be held in Ratoath Community Centre on Monday 7th April at 6.30pm. Everyone is welcome to attend.
 
Irish Blood Transfusion Service will be in Ashbourne House Hotel on Monday and Tuesday 7th and 8th April from 4.30pm – 8.00pm.

One of our altar servers, Sorcha Mc Groarty, is trying to raise money for the RNLI while at the same time donating her very long hair to the Rapunzel Foundation (an organisation that produces natural wigs for cancer patients). The Feast of the Divine Mercy will be celebrated in St Colmcille’s Church Kells on Sunday 

27th April at 2.30pm. The Novena will start on Good Friday 18th April. 
 

 
During the Sunday Angelus, and on various other occasions, Pope Francis has urged the faithful to carry a pocket-sized book of the Gospels and to read it often to meditate on Jesus' words and deeds. To help put this suggestion into practice, and communicating a clear message, this Sunday during the Angelus in St. Peter's Square, several thousand pocket-sized copies of the Gospel will be distributed free as a gift to the faithful at the behest of the Pope.
