(Milltree Park) who were baptised recently.
 
Please pray for Patrick (Patsy) McCormack (Fairyhouse Road) and Elizabeth Roche (Castleknock), mother of Karen Barniville (Foxbrook) who died during the week. May they rest in peace.
 
 
Congratulations to Jemma Walsh and Ian Sheehy who were married during the week.
 
The sick and the housebound will be attended to in their homes on Thursday and Friday
 

There will be no 12.15pm Mass next  Sunday 4th August.

 

Next Sunday, Fr. Denis Nulty, a priest of the diocese of Meath, will be ordained Bishop of Kildare and Leighlin in Carlow Cathedral. The ceremony will begin at 3pm.  The chief consecrator will be Archbishop Diarmuid Martin, assisted by Bishop Smith and the Papal Nuncio, Archbishop Charles Brown.  The ceremony will be streamed live on www.dioceseofmeath.ie, beginning at approximately 2.40pm.

Filled with your Spirit, may he minister with wisdom, understanding, knowledge and right judgement.                                                                                   May he display courage, reverence and a deep sense of wonder and awe in your presence.       Hold him close to your heart that he may be a humble instrument of your love and compassion in the service of your people. We make this prayer through Christ our Lord, Amen.

 
Open Air Mass will be held in St Oliver’s Park for Laura Donohue on Thursday 1st August at 7.00pm. All are very welcome.

Bishop Smith will lead the Meath Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock on Sunday 11th August. For information for groups travelling, phone 0469739015.Bus will leave Dunshaughlin at 8.00am

Bishop Michael will lead a diocesan day pilgrimage to Lough Derg on Tuesday 20th August

(Feast of St Bernard) as part of the Year of Faith.

                                        New Director of Trocaire

Eamonn Meehan is replacing Justin Kilcullen as Trocaire’s new Executive Director who will retire in October. Eamonn Meehan first joined Trocaire staff in 1991 as Programme Manager for the Southern Africa Region. For five years in this role, he managed the day-to-day running of Trocaire’s work in South Africa, Mozambique, Angola, Zambia and Zimbabwe. In 1996 he became Head of the International Division, responsible for Trocaire’s work overseas. This included the allocation of resources to development and humanitarian programmes and securing co-financing from the Irish government, the EU and others.  In 2002, Eamonn was appointed Deputy Director and Head of Trocaire’s Ireland Division with over-arching responsibility for fundraising and marketing, communications, development education, policy and campaigns. Previously from 1987-1991, Eamonn worked with the Agency for Personal Service Overseas (APSO) as Regional Representative for Southern Africa based in Lesotho. A former teacher, he has taught in Clane, County Kildare, Knocklyon in County Dublin and in Turkana in Kenya.  Originally from Kilmaley, County Clare, Eamonn holds a Masters in Education from Trinity College, Dublin

Ratoath Manor Nursing Home recently hosted our Annual Summer Garden Party. It was a fantastic party and one that was enjoyed by all.
