Congratulations to Erin Dempsey (Steeplechase Green), Emily Ryan (Bodeen), 
Joseph Whyte (The Village Green), Julia Donohoe (Kinsealy) and Lucy Everard (Glascarn Lane) who were baptised recently.
 
Please pray for Betty Colfer (Kilrue Lane), Barbara McMahon (Meadowbank Hill) and Sr. Berchmans (formally of Ratoath Manor Nursing Home) who died during the week. 
May they rest in peace.
 
The sick and the housebound will be attended to in their homes on Thursday and Friday.
 

 

 

 

 

                                                          Trocaire Boxes

 

Trocaire boxes should be returned to the box at the back of the church in the coming weeks.

              

Ratoath Golden Gloves are open now on a Wednesday evening at 8pm in the Community Centre along with the usual Saturday opening hours.

 

On Tuesday 2nd April starting 1pm sharp Ratoath GAA hosts its annual day at the races fundraiser in Fairyhouse. Tickets are €100 or €1000 for a table of 10. Price includes entry to races, complimentary race card, 4 course meal, guest tipsters and entertainment/music. Spot prizes are on offer for lucky punters. Later return to the clubhouse in Brownstown for finger food and music

 

Ratoath GAA Camogie section is having an Easter camp from 3rd to 5th April (11.00am to 1.00pm) for all girls aged 5 -10 years in the GAA club house. Beginners welcome and equipment will be provided for those who need it. €15 for the 3 days. Contact Mary on 0851458786 to book a place.

 

The Institute of Technology Blanchardstown is hosting an Open Evening on Thursday, 11th April 2013 from 5pm-7pm.  Any Leaving Cert/FETAC or prospective mature student is welcome to come along to this event to check out this modern campus and to talk to lecturing staff and current students about the various courses on offer. Easter Greetings

                      Many thanks to all who helped with the Holy                      Week Ceremonies, Sacristans, and servers, altar                society, and  church cleaners, the Parish choir,                      musicians and organists, cantors, and Children’s                 choir.

 

Commentators, readers, and Eucharistic Ministers.                      Participants in the washing of the feet and                                   the presentation of the gifts on Holy Thursday.                      Eucharistic ministers who took                                                         Holy Communion to the sick,                                                 Those who assisted for the veneration of the cross,                                     those who prepared the Palm for Palm Sunday,                                  the altar of repose for Holy Thursday and                                       those who prepared the flowers for Holy                   Thursday, the Easter Vigil and Easter Sunday.

 

We wish all our parishioners a very Happy and Joyful Easter.

An Easter Blessing

May the risen Christ fill you with joy,                                                  a joy only he can give,                                                                 May his triumph bring new hope                                                          and new light into your life.                                                            May you share today in the                                                    exaltation experienced by all his disciples.                    May you be a witness to his resurrection to                  all you meet and greet today.                                                Amen.
