PULSE is now open a month and is proving a very popular place for Ratoath's teenagers. We are short of volunteers needed to supervise the growing numbers of teenagers that are availing of the youth cafe facility. We need supervisors who can give a couple of hours of their time once a month. Unfortunately without sufficient volunteers we will not be able to open the premises given the youth cafe guidelines we are obliged to meet. We are currently open Friday (7-10pm) and Sunday nights(6-9) but would hope to open on Saturday night if we get the requisite number of volunteers.

If interested please ring Fergus O'Riordan @ 0876472747 or Paul Conroy @ 087 7522201

Ratoath Tidy Town Committee would like to say a Big Thank You to Pauline Gleeson from Glascarn Nursery’s for their sponsorship of all the flowers in the village over the Summer.

"Faith in a God who is love, who makes Himself close to man by incarnating Himself and by giving Himself on the Cross, who saves us and opens the doors of Heaven to us once again, clearly indicates that man's fullness consists solely in love.  This must be unequivocally reasserted today when the cultural transformations underway display so many forms of barbarity, passed off as 'conquests of civilisation'.                                                                       Pope Benedict, October 17, 2012)
