      Remembrance Sunday

“For we know that when this tent we live in –our bodies here on earth- is torn down, God will have a house for us to live in; a home he himself made, which will last forever.” (Cor)

“We believe that Jesus died and rose again; so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have died believing in him” (Thess)

“Those we hold most dear never truly leave us.

They live on in the kindness they showed, the comfort they shared and the love they brought into our lives”

Remembrance is a golden chain death tried to break, but all in vain.

To have, to love, and then to part is the greatest sorrow of one’s heart.

The years may wipe out many things but some they wipe out never.

Like memories of those happy times when we were all together.

For them we humbly pray; perfect them in your love.

O may we share eternal day with them in heaven above.
