Franciscan Brothers Appeal Last Weekend

Brother Brian Johnson writes: “Dear Parishioners, Greetings of peace and love to each one of you. I am stuck for words! Your response to our request for help with our work in Kenya and Uganda is overwhelming. You are so good and kind, I don’t know what to say. Your generous response is a huge lift to the brothers working abroad. I don’t have much to offer you in return for your great welcome, kindness and generosity except to let you know that you are remembered in the daily prayers of the brothers. For my part I will do a little fast for you and your families and I’ll remember you with a climb of Croagh Patrick in the next few days. And as we prepare for Pentecost I pray that the Holy Spirit will fill your hearts and homes with joy and peace.

Total Collection €5,550.00 Again, a million thanks.”
