 Congratulations to  Melissa Connolly (Somerville), Orlaith Sheridan (The Old Mill), Emma Matthews (Foxlodge Manor), James Nolan (Loughlinstown), Keegan Clince (Rathbeggan),Alex Markey (Leigh Valley) and Max Malone (St Oliver’s park) who were baptised recently Please pray for John Chambers (Leixlip) brother of Mary McIntyre (Curragha Road). May he rest in peace.     
Cemetery Sunday: 24th May beginning with evening prayer at 5.00pm. This will be followed by rosary and blessing of the graves.
   Ratoath Parish Youth Team will meet upstairs in the Parish centre on Monday evening at 7.30pm all welcome. Envelope Collection for weeks ending 19th & 26th April €1828.08. Many thanks for your continued support and generosity.  The Children’s Liturgy Committee will meet on Wednesday next 6th May at 8.00pm in the Parish Pastoral Centre.  Kathleen Keaney: This week end we say goodbye to Kathleen who has been with us since February as part of her parish pastoral placement. By the end of this month she will have completed the first of her two years of study and preparation for her role as a parish pastoral assistant. Kathleen has spent time in our schools, assisting at the liturgies in the church, helping with the children’s liturgy, children’s choir and visiting the nursing home. We thank Kathleen for her time with us, for commitment and dedication to her placement work and we hope that she has found her time in Ratoath beneficial and rewarding. We wish her every good wish and blessing for the future. 
First Communion: Over the next three weekends, Second Class children from Ratoath Junior National School, Rathbeggan National School and St Paul’s National School will receive their First Holy Communion. We look forward to these special celebrations in our parish. Next Saturday, we welcome Wilma Nicholl’s  and Sarah Brophy’s Classes from Ratoath Junior National School.

Next Sunday at the 12.15pm Mass: 
Ratoath GAA invites you to celebrate the 125th Anniversary of the GAA beginning with a special Mass at 12.15pm on next Sunday 10th May in the Parish Church. The celebrations will then continue in Sean Eiffe Park, Brownstown. Rathbeggan National School, The Bush, Dunshaughlin will celebrate its 50th birthday in 2010.  A meeting will be held in Rathbeggan School at 8:30pm on Thursday May 14th to begin to prepare for this special occasion.
