Congratulations  - Confirmation

We congratulate all the boys and girls who were confirmed by Bishop Smith on Saturday and we thank them for their co-operation and attention during the months leading up to Saturday.  We thank the principal teachers, Mr. Maurice Kearney and Mr. Kieran Rushe for their constant support and encouragement to the boys and girls in this school year, as they prepared for Confirmation. We thank the sixth class teachers for all their work in walking with and supporting their classes in their preparation for the sacrament.  We are grateful for the support of the Parents Association of both schools for their continued support to the faith development of our children and for the floral displays for Saturday. We express our thanks too, to the choirs of Ratoath Senior National School and Rathbeggan National School who sang at the ceremonies.  And above all, we thank all the parents, who are the first teachers of their children in the ways of faith. We are grateful to all the parents for bringing their child to the special Confirmation preparation Masses throughout the year and indeed we acknowledge the constant support and encouragement that parents have given to their children during this special year in school.

The group gathers for an hour to explore the readings of the following Sunday and to see what the readings says to us in our lives. The group is made up of young and old, and is led in an informal, relaxed and reflective atmosphere. All are welcome to attend.
