Congratulations to Max Brady ( Jamestown Park), Ava Ward (Somerville),

Sean Temple (Foxlodge Manor), Adam Malone (Foxbrook), Lydia Brazil (Jamestown Park),

Harry Bogan (Leigh Valley) and Amy Birmingham (Fourtune Court Way)

who were baptised recently.

 

Please pray for Patrick Sheridan (Ratoath Manor Nursing Home) who died during the week.

May he rest in peace.

 

Envelope Collection for the week ending 11th & 18th November €2,071.27

To express thanks to all our parishioners who distribute the parish envelopes for us; for those who collect the envelopes and for those who collect at the weekend Masses, a social evening will be held in the Parochial House at 8.00pm on this Thursday 29th November.

 

For Christmas: The parish choir are looking for parishioners who are willing to join them in the run up to Christmas. Practice on Tuesday at 8.30pm in the Parish Pastoral Centre. All are welcome.

                         

 

 

 

 

Diary for the Week Ahead

 

Tuesday:          Board of Management of Ratoath Junior National School meet at 8.00pm in the

                          Parish Pastoral Centre

                         

                         The Parish Choir will practice at 8.30pm in the Parish Pastoral Centre

 

Wednesday:     The Diocesan Catechists will give a presentation to the teachers of Ratoath Junior

                           and Senior National School.

                          

                          Eucharistic Adoration from 10.00am to 10.00pm in the church (family room)

                          We pray for all our dead during the month of November at our adoration.

                         

                         The Children’s Choir will practice from 7.00pm to 8.00pm in the church

                        

                        

Thursday:       A social evening will be held in the Parochial House at 8.00pm for all those who

                         distribute the parish envelopes; for those who collect the envelopes and for those who

                         collect at the weekend Masses.

                         

                        The Legion of Mary meet at 8.00pm in the Parish Pastoral Centre.

                          

                        The Folk Group will practice in the Church beginning at 8.30pm

 

Friday:           The Diocesan Catechists will give a presentation to the teachers of Rathbeggan and

                         St Paul’s National Schools

 

Saturday/       The children of 6th class and their parents will be attending their second special Mass

Sunday           in preparation for their Confirmation

Ratoath GAA Presents The Father Ted Variety Show on 7th  & 8th December in the Clubhouse at  8.00pm. Tickets are €10.00 and can be obtained from Jane Coyne on  086 344 5443.

 

The history, life and times of Thomas Lewis O'Beirne, the most successful Protestant Bishop of Meath will be the subject of a public lecture in St. Mary's, Church of Ireland, Navan, on Sunday, 25th. November, at 3.00pm. Sponsored by Meath Archaeological & Historical Society. All Welcome

 

Older Adults Festive Fun Day for older adults in Meath on Thursday 6th December at 10am in Simonstown GAA Centre, Navan. If interested please confirm attendance to Meath LSP

The Management of Ratoath Manor Nursing Home would like to ask all Mass goers who park their cars in the Nursing Home grounds, to please have consideration for the residents and staff by parking cars appropriately. Please do not block entrance to the front or back of the Nursing Home. These exits must be kept clear at all times in case of emergency. Thank you for your co-operation.

 

 

The St Vincent de Paul Society is holding their annual Christmas Collection next weekend -  1st & 2nd December.                                                                                       This collection is for the support of the local community and your generous support would be appreciated once again.                                                      The Ratoath Conference would like to recruit new members.
